Welcome to the Arts Foundation of Olde Towne

The Arts Foundation Of Olde Towne is a neighborhood based, Arts & Humanities incubator that serves to host and produce projects that are about, or initiated by residents from the Near East Area of the City Of Columbus, Ohio.

AFOOT is designed to serve the historical Near East Area of Columbus, one of the City's oldest Communities. The houses, some as old as the 1870s, in more than 50 architectural styles have been home to many famous individuals of Columbus including, hundreds of Artists: writers, poets, musicians, painters, sculptors, and historians, as well as industrialists, lawyers, judges, teachers, architects, mayors, governors, and legislators. AFOOT projects has been nationally recognized by the National Endowment for The Arts & the United Way for it's unique approach to providing opportunity for vastly diverse communities to unite and work together toward common goals.

The Arts Foundation Of Olde Towne (AFOOT) has built a new web site thanks to the hard work and talents of Web Master Russell Satori, explore and enjoy! AFOOT continues to collect and archive the rich Jazz History of the City of Columbus & State Of Ohio - check out the Columbus Archives on this page and watch for postings from the Ohio Archive soon.The new book Ohio Jazz: A History Of Jazz In The Buckeye State, authored by Arnett Howard, Dave Meyers, Jim Loeffler and AFOOT Organizational Director Candice Watkins, came out in the Spring of 2012 and has been met with great success.

Website Redesign

The Arts Foundation of Olde Towne's website is currently undergoing a site-wide redesign.

We are moving the site to a new server and enhancing the websites features, aesthetics, and user search abilities.
